The Valentine Courtroom

Case Number 1: A Case of Lost Love
Filed on February 14, 2008

Point1: TIME
First party says “I am busy, that’s why I don’t have time to talk to you and to visit you.”

Second party says “Three years ago, your not like that. If you finished all your stuffs at school, then you can have time to talk to me the whole night.”

THE VERDICT: first party is GUILTY!
Fact: At school, the first party spends time chatting with friends and texting other people, who incidentally are males and one of them is romantically involved with the first party.

Point2: EFFORTS FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS
First party says “Its valentines and you don’t have any efforts to give me even a single rose! Monthsary, Anniversary, Christmas and New Year has passed and I have never received any gift from you”

Second party says “You know my current situation, I don’t have work yet and I don’t have money”

First party: “if you had been saving kahit piso-piso isang araw, then you could have saved money to buy me even a chocnut”

THE VERDICT: Second party is NOT GUILTY.

Fact: “You cannot eat flowers” –second party. Flowers and chocolate will never measure the love that the second party can give to first party. It’s just a matter of waiting, patience is a virtue.

Time frame: within six months. If second party still has no work, and no efforts during special occasions had been performed, then file this case again and the jury will determine if this is another case of lost love.

Mind Says:

(sigh) “he’s right. He’s always been right. I act as if I’ve been righteous, but I was totally doing the opposite.”

Case Number 2: A Case of Schizophrenic Love
Filed on February 14, 2008
The text below are duces tecum (documentary evidence) and duces testificandum (testimony) of both first and third parties for this case

First Party: “I love you, but I don’t want to.”
Third Party: “I love you, too, mahal.

Bakit tayo ba?”

First Party: “kelan tayo magkikita ulit?”
Third party: “Ahm, basta set natin yan, sabay kiss and hug kita”

First Party: “Talaga lang ha?

First party: (nang-aasar na remarks)
Third Party: Kea kung aku seu, tanggalin mu ung pic ku s fs mu, nandidiri aku, bka icpn nila pumapatol aku sa mataba at mukhang bakla…

THE VERDICT: BOTH PARTIES ARE NOT GUILTY. HOWEVER, THE JURY FOUND BOTH PARTIES TO BE INSANE AND DEMENTED WHICH MEANS THEY ARE MENTALLY INCAPACITATED TO FALL IN LOVE. The jury further DECIDED TO SEND BOTH PARTIES to A MENTAL INSTITUTION FOR FURTHER REHABILITATION which will last for ABOUT 10 YEARS.
