this has been a common saying in almost all the decisions we face.. if in doubt, don't proceed.
i would have to honestly say that I have been doubting my job as of the moment.. I do most of the time sales and client calls.. which is one of the tasks i hate in marketing.
i miss the events.. i miss media... i miss deadlines and creative writing and i miss school. :(
after long hours of consulting with friends and family members.. i am still confused what to do... Its like i am stuck in this blackhole with no air, no light, no nothing... thank god i have multiply/blogger/friendster which serves as an avenue for my close to big bang thoughts...

I am doubting my work now because of whatif...........
What if.......................... I stick with the plan of applying in a headhunter company.... and went for the multinational companies just i always planned....
What if.......................... I waited for the call of GMA Network, and fixed my requirements for Bangko SEntral ng Pilipinas and continued my weight loss program for Philippine Airlines?
What if..........................I continued my application in being a Web Content Writer where I was asked to submit my sample works..
What if..........................I show up in interview invitations of Cityland (that i received thru mail) and for another company for an account exec position....
These what if scenarios had been blocked before by the imagery of a better and promising future with my boss....
If you have read my other posts, you may perceive me to be 100% enjoying with my status but the truth is, after the unang sweldo... reality starts to bite me back....
Reality Check No1: Scenario with my dad:
Daddy: Ano kamusta trabaho mo?
Diane: Okay naman po (blah blah blah blahh.... after 3 minutes of explanation..)
Daddy: Ah ganon ba, eh ambaba naman ng sweldo mo!
Reality Check No2: Scenario with my Avon Lady
Avon Lady: May balance ka pang, P2000 Diane para dun sa order mo sa Red Logo.. at ung make up mo pa....
Diane: (thinking) ha... naku.. 2000 babayad ko, eh pano ung pang gastos ko, at pambili ng mga gamot ko.... at ung mga iba pang gusto ko bilhin..................
Reality Check No3: Scenario with my cousin Cyne, HSBC Customer Rep
Diane: Cyne, magkano ba sweldo mo jan?
Cyne: Ahmmm.. ung pinakamataas ko, inabot ng P25000 pero ung monthly mga P16000... kasi may mga allowances pa, rice subsidy, night differential...
Diane: ahhh (feeling tae na naman ako sa sarili ko)
Reality Check No4: Scenario in the Bathroom while Pooping
Diane (to herself) : Magpapasukan na... sana makapagbigay lang ako ng kahit magkano kina Melo, at Arvin...Charis... Maye.. at ke Jaimie na mag-aaral na as Kinder sa big school.... ay nako... kelan kaya ako makakapagipon...
Pinapaniwala ko nalang ba sarili ko na may future, well in fact, wala naman ata... kasi bakit kelangan pang pahirapan ang mga sistema.. kung ngayon palang pwede na maghirap, at kumita ng malaki.. parang naghihirap ka para sa wala....
ano ba talaga....
sa paguusap namin ng aking Thesis adviser... binigyan niya ako ng konting liwanag... konti lang..

i am still undertraining... how would i tell my boss that i want to resign I am better in creative writing, brand management, research events... but not sales..

i believe 1 month is too short to use as evidence in concluding that you're not good in sales after all, you're still in training may i suggest you give yourself 3 months then we can more convincingly conclude whether you're good in sales or not
yes, the whole training is 3months long i am currently under the "what if" scenario because i know there are more jobs where i can apply..
and that's why the training is 3 months even the best salesmen did not succeed overnight
well, you need to find out this early how good or not good you are in sales
i have been contacted by cityland.. another firm and a headhunt company... im soo confused...
so it will be better to finish this 'til the end of training 10:36 PM
actually, i have bagged clients as early as my first week but my boss doesnt want these clients
i believe it will be to your best advantage to find out this early how good you could be at sales before you start applying in the other companies
he's very picky and he said that his focus is not on the business sense but towards buidling his image first.. as for me, how would my compensation increase if that's the POV of my own boss
